About our Pastor

Pastor Chuck grew up on a small farm in Fayette County near Confluence, PA and graduated from Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School. He was raised in a small country church where he was mentored by many wonderful Christians.

He entered college studying pre-law but God had other plans as he felt the call and graduated with a religion degree and headed off to seminary at Candier School of Theology.

Pastor Chuck has 2 grown children and 6 grand children. He has served as Pastor for over 35 years in several different appointments. He has a passion for the communities he serves, especially reaching out to children, youth and young families with the hope of Christ & the Gospel for today's trying times. Pastor Chuck & his wife, Gerry will be serving Perryopolis United Methodist Church and The First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon.
